Repair connections

You can quickly analyze your home network's connectivity, and repair connection problems detected.

  1. In the Network Status box, click Repair.

    Network Magic opens the Connectivity Repair wizard.
 
  1. To have Network Magic start analyzing your network connections, click Next.

    Wait briefly. Network Magic checks both the connections within your network, as well as the network's Internet connection. Network Magic also tries to obtain a new IP address from your router.
 
  1. On the Summary page, check the results.

    If the problem was repaired, Network Magic displays a green check mark and a message that the repair was successful.

    If there is still a problem, Network Magic displays a red X and lists suggestions for fixing the problem. For information about these, see Use the custom instructions to fix the problem.
